Saturday 8th January 2022 Kerry Barehead  Roses: Dos and Don’t Our first talk of 2022 introduces Kerry Barehead.  This is her first talk to our group.
Saturday 5th February 2022 Twigs Way A history of Daffodils in Art, History, Culture and Gardens. Twigs again joins the group to talk on Daffodils. Twigs is a designer and garden historian. Plants for sale by Colin Ward.
Saturday 5th March 2022   Colin Ward Hostas Little and Large. Colin is a well known Nursery Owner and a member of our group.  There will be plants for sale.
SUNDAY 3rd April 2022. Derry Watkins ‘Derelict Hill Farm to Garden in a year or two or Twenty’ PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A SUNDAY MEETING.  Well known nursery owner. Plants for sale.
Saturday 3rdSeptember 2022. Razvan Chisu Plants and Castles of Transylvania The Transylvanian Gardener. Again a new speaker to our group.
Saturday 1st October 2022.  Fergus Garrent  Biodiversity Audit at Great Dixter. (how a garden can support wild life.) Head gardener/custodian of Great Dixter. Plants for sale.
Saturday 5th November 2022. Steve Edney To be arranged Steve is Head Gardener at Canterbury Cathedral. Also a nursery owner. Plants for sale. Annual AGM before talk starts.
Saturday 3rd  December 2022 Wildlife Trust  Wildlife Gardening. Xmas food after the talk.

Indoor Meetings

All meetings are held at the The Weatherley Centre, Eagle Farm Road, Biggleswade, Beds SG188JH commencing at 2.00p.m.  Visitors are welcome to all meetings, a small charge is applied.

 

Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire Hardy Plant Society Outings and Plant Sale 2022.

Annual Grand Plant Sale.   Sunday 22nd May 2022 commencing at 10a.m. and concluding at 2.00p.m.  As normal the sale will be held at The Weatherley Centre, Eagle Farm Road, Biggleswade, Beds SG188JH.  All welcome free entrance.

Chenies Manor Plant Fair on Sunday 17th July 2022.

The trip to Chenies has been cancelled.
